Chicago, IL – First Tuesdays with The Midwest Independent Film Festival continue with the Chicago Premiere of Caught in the Crossfire on Tuesday, August 3rd at Landmark’s Century Centre Cinema, 2828 North Clark beginning at 6 p.m.  This Michigan-made Lionsgate thriller stars Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, “CSI: Miami” star Adam Rodriguez and Chris Klein.  Writer-director and Grand Rapids native Brian Miller will be in attendance for a post-screening discussion with the audience.


Film Synopsis: Two detectives (Klein and Rodriguez) investigating a gang-related crime find themselves targeted by both gang members and crooked cops.  Co-starring and executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, written and directed by Michigan native Brian Miller.


  

 

Screening Information: Tuesday, August 3, 2010 -- screening begins with a Pre-Show Cocktail Reception (sponsored by Heineken and Candid Wines) at Landmark’s Century Centre Cinema (2828 North Clark) at 6 p.m.  The Producers Panel will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the theater.  Caught in the Crossfire premieres promptly at 7:30 p.m. A post-screening reception will be held immediately following the film at Forno Diablo, 433 West Diversey.
