Sherwood Kiraly, Screenwriter, Diminished Capacity

 

Diminished Capacity is the screenplay adaptation of Mr. Kiraly's own comedic novel concerning a man (Matthew Broderick) who gets amnesia after suffering a blow to the head and the road trip he embarks on with his Alzheimer’s-afflicted uncle (Alan Alda) and high-school sweetheart (Virginia Madsen, right).  Mr. Kiraly's other novels include Who's Hot Who's Not and California Rush. 

 

 

Tim Evans, Producer, Diminished Capacity

 

Mr. Evans helms Steppenwolf Films along with Steppenwolf Theatre Company co-founders Gary Sinise, Terry Kinney and Jeff Perry and Producer Mary Frances Budig.  Steppenwolf Films is Steppenwolf Theatre Company's new division created to develop and produce independent feature films and unique television projects generated by and for the acclaimed Steppenwolf Ensemble and its artistic associates. Driven by the Ensemble's intense acting style and passion for storytelling, Steppenwolf Films will use the company's collaborative spirit and artistic excellence to deliver distinctive films to wider audiences.
