Tonight’s Topic: "The SAG-AFTRA Merger: Everything You Need and Want to Know!"

History was made in Hollywood Friday: The Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists announced they will officially merge.  What does this merger mean for union and non-union (or "pre-union" we should say) actors as well as film and television producers?  We will dig into the merger with our Producers Panel!

Eric Chaudron, Executive Director,
SAG-AFTRA Chicago

Eric currently oversees the daily operations of the
SAG-AFTRA Chicago Local office and staff, as well as the Screen Actors Guild’s Chicago Branch operations. He is responsible for overseeing administration of all national contracts for television and radio programming, sound recordings, commercials, non-broadcast/industrial and new media productions produced in Chicago and Illinois state and serves as chief negotiator for all SAG-AFTRA Local union contracts, including local broadcast station contracts.  Visit SAG-AFTRA Chicago online!

Also a very busy on-camera and voiceover talent in Chicago, Ilyssa has spent over a decade in various positions seeing SAG Chicago through everything from labor disputes to royalty rights issues to the explosion of new technology that has changed the way we make and see movies.

Craig J. Harris, 2nd Vice President, SAG-AFTRA Chicago

Chicago native Craig J. Harris is an accomplished actor and award winning screenwriter.
