Mike McNamara

Mike is a working actor in Chicago, in theatre, commercials, television and film. Mike most recently appeared onstage in Northlight Theatre’s production of Pride and Prejudice, which garnered five Joseph Jefferson Award nominations, including Best Production. Commercially, Mike is currently touring the country as the national emcee for the Guinness Believer tour; past clients include Maxim Magazine, Sony, Progressive Insurance, Crest/Oral-B, Accenture and Wisconsin Dells. Past theatre credits include European Repertory Company, Factory Theatre, Indiana Shakespeare Company, Shattered Globe, Stage Left and Steppenwolf. Film and television credits include Barbershop 2, Man in the Silo, Tapioca, Early Edition and The Quiet.
Mike is the Co-Founder and Director of Programming for The Midwest Independent Film Festival (www.midwestfilm.com). He is also a regular columnist for Screen Magazine (www.screenmag.com); his monthly series, “The Call Sheet,” gives readers a look at film and television production in and around the Chicagoland area. Finally, Mike is the Co-Founder of Chicago-based independent radio station Fearless Radio (www.fearlessradio.com) and co-host of the popular Internet radio show, Mac & Slater (www.macandslater.com).
