MIDWEST PREMIERE!  FOOD CHAIN.  When two young deer step out of the forest and confront 27-year-old rural resident Stu Belzer about his hunting, his life is changed forever.  Executive produced by Draftfcb Chicago VP/Executive Producer Ivo Knezevic, edited by Sean Berringer of Beast Editorial (right).

 

WORLD PREMIERE!  LOTOLOGY.  "Lottery ticket collecting is a sleeping giant."  LOTOLOGY is a heart-warming, laugh-out-loud short documentary that explores the lives of a group of lottery ticket collectors who believe an unscratched “mint” ticket is worth more than the potential prize lurking under the latex.  Co-Directed by Tim Blevins from Carmichael Lynch & Nina Orezzoli from Colle + McVoy, both based in Minneapolis.  Produced by DRAFTFCB Producer Ramon Nuñez.


FESTIVAL PREMIERE!  TAKE EVERYTHING.  Music video for recording artist Greg Laswell by ONE at Optimus director Otto Arsenault.  Mr. Arsenault's last music video (for Matt & Kim's "Lessons Learned") earned an MTV Music Video Award for Breakthrough Video.


FESTIVAL PREMIERE!  KILLING TIME.  What happens when the boss leaves for a while?  Produced by Indianapolis post-production house Scofield Editorial.


MIDWEST PREMIERE!  THE BERLIN WALL.  Werner Schlomerkemper, 72, has decided to rebuild the Berlin Wall in his backyard (right).  From commercial director Paul CotterOfficial Selection, Hamptons International Film Festival.


FESTIVAL PREMIERE!  LOVE SONG FOR BUDDY.  An animated film about early loss set to the tune "Love Song for Buddy" from Urbana, IL band Headlights.  Directed by Scott Marvel of Chicago-based Daily Planet.


CHICAGO PREMIERE!  ENVIROMETER.  When the forces of conservation and industrialization within a common society compete head to head, the only entity that can regulate the fight is the fantastic measuring contraption known as the Envirometer. Official Selection, Palm Springs International, Newport Beach and Edinburgh International Film Festivals.  Directed by Danny Robashkin of Minnesota animation studio MAKE. 

 

THE VIOLINIST.  When a charming, world famous concert violinist comes to town for a concert series, a lonely bag boy attempts to impersonate him in an attempt to improve his love life.  From Wisconsin commercial director Carlo Besasie, cinematographer Mike Gillis and writer Ryan PlatoHere's the trailer!


FESTIVAL PREMIERE!  GRAVEYARD.  While the rest of the world sleeps, a Custodian and a Security Guard share revelations, epiphanies, confessions, lies, and whatever else they can think of to keep you from dying of boredom before the sun comes up. This is “Graveyard."  Created By Ron Lazzeretti, David Pasquesi and Christian Stolte.  Starring the latter two.  And produced by Eduardo J. Amaya of 59 Films.


WORLD PREMIERE!  THE WAIT.  A man works the land, like the generations of men before him, waits for his son to come home.  A beautifully cinematic tale from commercial director Ron Hamad.  Post production by Chicago-based Foundation Post.

 

FESTIVAL PREMIERE!  SPARROWS.  A boy uses his camcorder to tell the story of two girlfriends.  A music video for recording artist Grace Weber by Chicago commercial director Martin Rodahl.
