New! MIFF Conversation Series

We're proud to present the Midwest Independent Film Festival Conversation Series, an event series to explore topics in-depth through workshops, lectures, and panel discussions.

Inspired by positive feedback on our monthly Producers Panels prior to each First Tuesday screening event, we've developed this series to offer additional ways to help support the Midwest film community. Each event will be held separately from our usual first-Tuesday-of-each-month screening events, and will bring people together from all career levels to talk, listen and learn.

For this inaugural event on March 21, we're proud to be partnering with p3 mediaworks, a longtime sponsor of the festival, as well as Stage 18, to present a discussion about career navigation-- balancing passion projects alongside commercial work, and how to think strategically about approaching both simultaneously throughout your career as a filmmaker.

The panel, moderated by MIFF Advisory Council President Mary Kay Cook, will bring together film industry professionals Patrick Coleman, Corey Gilbert (P3 Mediaworks),  Damon Hennessey, Mary McDonnell, Suzie Moore, and Tim Troy -- each representing different areas of the industry-- for this discussion.

Space is limited so reserve your tickets today!
