Indestructible

Director:
Ben Byer

When 31 year-old Ben Byer is diagnosed with ALS, a fatal neurodegenerative disease, he begins documenting his life on camera. What begins as a series of video diaries grows into a three-year journey that takes him around the world looking for answers, and maybe even a cure.  A cinematic adventure filled with extraordinary characters, breathtaking landscapes and abundant humor, Indestructible is beautifully shot by Academy Award™ nominee Roko Belic (Genghis Blues).  In his first feature film, Byer takes us on a visually stunning global quest to survive as he begins to understand the power of the human condition.

The Midwest Premiere of INDESTRUCTIBLE was presented at the Midwest Independent Film Festival on October 2, 2007, earning nominations for multiple Best of the Midwest Awards, including Best Feature Film.
