Doors open with a Red Carpet and Cocktail Reception at 7pm at Landmark's Century Centre Cinema, 2828 N. Clark Street in Chicago.

On Tuesday, December 5th, we will be celebrating the finest in Midwest filmmaking as well an exceptional year for The Midwest Independent Film Festival.  The Best of the Midwest Awards Celebration will recognize the premier films and filmmakers featured throughout the 2017 season at the Midwest Independent Film Festival.  This year's celebration will take place at Landmark's Century Centre Cinema, 2828 N. Clark Street in Chicago.

New Executive Director of the Midwest Independent Film Festival

11/3/17:  Today Mike McNamara stepped down as Executive Director of The Midwest Independent Film Festival. We thank him for his years of service and leadership and wish him luck in his personal and professional endeavors. Effective immediately, The Midwest Independent Film Festival co-founder Mike Kwielford will serve as Interim Executive Director through the end of the 2017 season while we begin a formal search for a permanent successor.

Tuesday at the Midwest Independent Film Festival, the evening opens with THE PRODUCERS PANEL, 6:30 pm right in the theater. The topic for the evening is "Music and Your Movie." We are excited to announce our moderator for the night is Melissa Thornley of Melissa Thornley Consulting. Tuesday's esteemed panelists include:
