As a nonprofit organization, the Midwest Film Festival relies on the passion and support of dedicated volunteers. From helping audiences enjoy unforgettable screenings to supporting festival operations behind the scenes, our volunteers play an essential role in bringing our programming to life.

Volunteer opportunities may include assisting at festival venues, supporting guest services, helping promote events throughout the community, or working alongside our team during special programs and screenings.

While volunteer opportunities arise throughout the year, our largest need is during the annual Midwest Film Festival, where a strong team of volunteers helps ensure the festival runs smoothly and creates an exceptional experience for filmmakers, guests, and audiences alike.

How to Get Involved

To become a Midwest Film Festival volunteer, simply complete our volunteer application through our online scheduling platform, Timecounts. Once registered, you’ll be able to join volunteer teams, browse upcoming opportunities, and sign up for available shifts as they are posted.

As the festival approaches, additional volunteer opportunities and event details will be shared with registered volunteers.
