We are thrilled to share that MFF is moving into a refreshed 5 Day traditional festival model in 2026!

Our Programming
MFF continues to champion a wide range of work, from short films and features to music videos, branded content, specs, experimental work, and everything in between.
Our signature themed programs like Adcomm and Emerging Filmmakers remain a cornerstone of our identity, offering thoughtful, curated programs that highlight the depth and diversity of Midwest storytelling.
This model will allow us to expand beyond these themes to program more blocks of shorts and features.
